Monthly Sustainer Donations
The true measure of a society’s goodness is how it treats its most helpless creatures. My wife & I are proud to support the good work done by the Blind Cat Sanctuary, so blind cats can life and be happy. Keep up the good work! Josh & Nancy
I became a monthly sustainer because reputable charities are transparent charities, so they operate with nothing to hide. They must maintain a fiscal balance and demonstrate stewardship so those donors who do their due diligence will be assured their donations are appropriated wisely. I already sponsor a kitty at Blind Cat Rescue and send gifts for the cats; however, some months the funds received by the rescue are plentiful and other months they are not. Becoming a “sustainer” gives BCR a monthly baseline budget - above the sponsorship allocated for the cats - for things like office supplies, unforeseen vet bills and other expenses. Well run charities that practice fiscal responsibility and have adequate funds on-hand for daily expenses and unforeseen needs will likely continue to operate much longer than those that do not have such practices in place. Suzanne C.
I decided to become a monthly sustainer for Blind Cat Rescue because I think they fill a tremendous need. I know all cats and dogs can’t be saved but improving the life of one or a bunch is so important. The fact that these kitties are allowed to live normal lives in spite of blindness (which probably only we notice!) is wonderful. The monitoring and access to the visitors allows you an inside view of the organization, even from far away. I have a one-eyed cat myself-Jinx, here’s to you! Mimi M.
Why did I decide to become a sustainer? Because I love all animals, all my life I have always loved cats. I wanted to help cats. Boris B. I became a sustainer because of my sister. She had sent you money said do you believe in this big sort of horrendous world that someone is thinking about the blind cats? And that got to me. I give to many animal charities, but yours seemed a pure good. Many other is not most people would find blind cats disposable, but the very fact that your organization exists caring for blind cats is proof to me just how good the world can be. Broderick M.
